Glasses that have a rough area in the base of the bowl, known as a ‘sparkling point’, are ideal. The rough area enables chains of small bubbles to form and rise up to the surface.
To ensure that the beading is not affected, you should avoid washing the glasses in detergent, and you shouldn’t polish them until you are about to use them.
